Avalanche Training
Playing in our backyard comes with some inherent risks and it’s important to equip yourself with not only the gear, but the knowledge required to make sure your group makes it home safely. An introductory Avalanche Skills Training course, AST1, will provide you with valuable education and training for travelling through avalanche terrain and emergency rescue procedures. This 2 day course is highly recommended for all backcountry users, and there are a number of companies offering snowmobile specific courses in the Golden area.  We recommend Hangfire Avalanche Training .
